Expanded polytetrafluoroethylene board, also known as expanded tetrafluoroethylene board or expanded tetrafluoroethylene board, is made of 100% PTFE polytetrafluorohexene through special process treatment. It has excellent flexibility, excellent compliance performance and molding ability, as well as high tensile strength, creep resistance, high and low temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, cold flow resistance and aging resistance. It can be stored for a long time without deterioration, is non-toxic and pollution-free, and is composed of countless homogeneous, fine, soft, and strong multi-directional fibers. It has a unique high-density fiber structure, and when compressed, the fibers will entangle with each other, becoming a tighter and more uniform tissue. It is not breathable, waterproof, and has good anti leakage performance. It can also maintain an excellent sealing state in harsh corrosive environments and high temperatures.
The expanded soft PTFE gasket is a soft sponge like substance, making it suitable for all irregular surfaces. It forms a thin and firm gasket when compressed, and its excellent cold flow and creep resistance characteristics enable it to maintain reliable sealing performance. In many occasions, even when working in a high temperature environment of 315 ℃, it can continue to seal without secondary distortion. With only one installation and pressurization, it can never leak.
